多看就是看電視的subtitles (每次選DVD set-up menu 都會出現"English subtitles for the hearing impaired 搞的自己跟聽障一樣..)
不只是厘語 還有諸多簡寫: LOL TBA OMG TTYL BRB BLT 生活用語: "from scratch" "I've got grilled."
還有skype唸成"skai-p" (rhymes with type e無聲) youtube唸"you-tube" 請不要學東森英文新聞亂唸的you-tu-be

上個月 實驗室來了兩個荷蘭人 Jaime(音同"Shime") and Jochem(音同"Yokum" 後面的"Kum"加上喉音)
Go Dutch"
Do Dutch ppl really go Dutch?"
"It's a way to say split the bill on a date. If it's a blind date or the first you have with a girl and
you want to make it casual, not really making it a formal and committing one, you could say let's go Dutch.
The phrase is not that commonly-used but we all know what it means."
"It's a bag of crumbs" (就是cereal或是餅乾吃完之後袋子裡面的餅乾屑) 荷蘭鄰居就說
"Yeah.. I've been saving them for making meatballs."
There's actually another word for "frugal" besides "cheap".. you know what that is??" "Jew!!"
Wow... Don't say that.... It makes you sound like a racist...."
Eric說"No... Joe said to me one time when we were at a restaurant, "Are you Jew?!" I told him it's not a good word.
But isn't "Go Dutch" pretty much the same thing?"

Andrew Lennox: Asking to Go Dutch?
This is a BIG "NO-NO" even if you're dating Halle Berry. Never ask a woman to pay for half of the date.
If you commit this sin, she will see you as cheap and classless... As far as she's concerned,
it is her birthright not to pay for a date unless it's your birthday or some other special occasion
(assuming you two are an item).
